The Pilla Outlaw X7 40CN Lens is a premium shooting lens engineered to deliver exceptional target contrast, enhanced colour definition, and outstanding visual clarity in medium-light conditions, particularly against green backgrounds.
Featuring a distinctive purple-pink tint with subtle blue undertones, the 40CN incorporates Pilla's advanced Chromashift Neutralizer technology to suppress distracting green backgrounds while intensifying orange and pink clay targets. This specialized filtration helps shooters achieve improved target separation against trees, grass, and dense foliage.
With 40% light transmission, the lens is ideally suited for moderate sunlight, filtered daylight, and medium-light environments. Its carefully balanced filtration provides effective brightness management while maintaining excellent target definition and visual contrast.
Developed as an evolution of Pilla's popular 44N filtration, the 40CN features an enhanced spectral profile that utilizes Chromashift pigments to elevate orange and pink target visibility while reducing competing green background colours. This makes it particularly effective on wooded sporting clays courses and shooting grounds surrounded by vegetation.
Developed in partnership with ZEISS, Pilla's advanced optical technology provides outstanding clarity and colour management. The premium ICE coating helps repel moisture and oils, reduces fogging, and makes the lens easier to clean throughout extended shooting sessions.
The Outlaw X7 design features a high-wrap lens profile, providing excellent peripheral coverage and a comfortable fit for smaller to medium facial profiles.
